Keith Boddy – Guitar
Keith studied jazz and fusion guitar at Humber College with focus on composition, arrangement, and performance. During his first musical discoveries at Laurentian University, he had the honour of performing with musicians such as: Oliver Jones (Award winning Pianist and Officer of the Order of Canada recipient), Paul Delong (Juno winner, Kim Mitchell, Rik Emmett, Tommy, Rent), and Charlie Coolie (Manteca, performed with Leonard Cohen, K.D. Lang, Amanda Marshall, Anne Murray, Sass Jordan). While at Humber he studied guitar with Juno nominee Ted Quinlan and guitarist Tony Zorzi, and performed in Brian Dickinson’s ensemble as well as the Blue Jackets band directed by Dave Stillwell.
After graduating, he toured with various highly successful tribute acts and original bands for several years, while also working as a private teacher.
Keith brings hard hitting grooves with an abundance of energy to the table. Coming up with progressions and solos that tend to go ‘outside’ of the norm’ allows him to bring unique ideas to Imagine If. He’s always listening to his members while playing to bring the sound of the band to the next level.
