Drummer Tom Paulovits received his first kit at the age of 14, (a 70’s Ludwig Concert Tom kit) and has had a burning passion for music ever since. As a self-taught drummer, his love of 70’s Funk, R&B and Hard-Rock built the foundation of his playing. Since then, Tom has incorporated a wide variety of influences from Fusion and World music to Groove Metal and Country into his playing, which has opened the door to a multitude of opportunities within the Toronto Music Scene. Whether on stage or in the studio, Tom’s versatility is highlighted in his creative philosophy: “play what’s right for the song”.
Through previous projects, Tom has opened for Vince Neil of Motley Crue, The Headstones, and Bobby Keys of Rolling Stones Fame. Tom has also gained invaluable insight into the business side of music with his previous band Rebel Hero, personally negotiating a Publishing and Distribution deal with a Toronto based Indie Label. Currently residing Northwest of Toronto Tom also runs a metalwork business, building custom metal snare drums.
